Game is now live on Itch.io!

As it turns out, hosting a game on a google drive page and then linking to it on reddit is a horrible way to market a game. Now that I’ve done a few updates, I finally moved the game to itch.io since hosting it here is a better idea in pretty much every way.

When I first made the game and shared it with a few people, my first thought was “does anyone actually find this shit entertaining?” Over the last month and a half, it turned out that some people actually did seem to like it, which is why I kept developing the game. Although the subject and gameplay is inherently niche, I hope to expand my audience by posting on itch.io to make the game less obscure.

Turns out itch.io is a really good place for Twine games: who knew? Someone on r/AIFcentral reminded me that itch.io was a good place to host these kinds of games.

I posted the game to itch.io as part of the 0.5.0 update, which adds part of a new area, some new enemies, and adds a player magic system for more combat variety. The game will get an update every week to week and a half or so: stay tuned!

If you’re coming here from reddit or discord, howdy! Couldn’t have made it this far without you. And I give a hearty welcome to anyone seeing this project for the first time on itch.io.
